2026 VIAAA offers NIAAA LTC 504 – Legal Issues I

We are excited to announce that the Virginia High School League (VHSL) and the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAAA) have partnered to offer an NIAAA Leadership Training Course (LTC) the day before the VHSL Fall Meetings.

This is a great opportunity to invest in your professional development, strengthen your knowledge of legal and risk-management issues in interscholastic athletics, and make progress toward your NIAAA certification.

Course Description:
This course provides in-depth coverage of the legal standards governing liability for sports injuries, including the duties imposed by courts and legislatures on athletics administrators, coaches, athletic trainers, and other athletics personnel related to safeguarding the health and well-being of student-athletes and others in school sports environments.
